CHROME LIGNO SULFONATE (CLS)
Chrome Ligno Sulfonate is dark-brown colored powder, is special thinner used in drilling fluids. It has the character of anti-high temperature and anti-electrolytes, suitable to fresh water, salt water and saturated salt water mud.

1. Anti high temperature, the mud keeps stable and unchanged for 16 hours when temperature reaches 150° -160°
2. Anti electrolytes, it is suitable to every kind of mud.
3. In 2% salt water, the mud added with CLS performs better than FCLS.
Application
CLS is used as thinner for drilling fluids, may be added into drilling fluids in powders or in water solution with a dosage 0.5-1.0 % (W/V). Adjust the PH value in a range of 10-10.5
